Coloring with Caution:  Smoke Alarms - Make Them Work For You

2nd Annual NCC Fire's Coloring with Caution Coloring Contest

Nevada County Consolidated Fire District has partnered with local schools in our district for our 2nd annual Coloring with Caution Coloring Contest! This year’s theme set by the NFPA is Smoke Alarms- Make Them Work For You!

Children at participating schools who want to participate in the challenge are asked to draw a picture on the importance of smoke alarms and fire safety.  Flyers with contest rules and information will be sent home with children from school (along with paper to make entering this contest as easy as possible). Kids can easily turn the artwork back to their teacher (be sure to write name & contact information on the back of the paper in the spot provided) by the deadline of Friday, September 20th.

NCC Fire personnel will pick their favorites during Fire Prevention Week (October 6 – October 12) and the artwork chosen will be placed on an NCC Fire Engine for 30 days. Winners will be notified via email and/or phone.
